ROUTE LEGBOOK & HANDBOOK: We've done most of our work ensuring that the Colorado Relay course is all set for the race coming up in just over a month. We can barely believe it. Keep watching the website though, because there always seems to be a curveball coming somehow. For the old guard: remember the rock slide in Glenwood Canyon? 9/11? The year we had to avoid Guanella entirely? The year we had to do a secondary start at Burning Bear? Well stay tuned!!!

Here are some of the changes/update for this year:

• Leg 4 now goes from Georgetown Lake to Clear Lake
• Leg 5 goes from Clear Lake to Guanella Pass Campground
• Leg 6 goes from Guanella Pass Campground to Guanella Pass
• Feel free to ask us questions as there is a new cutoff time (4:44pm 9/21 at Exchange 10 where leg 11 starts up over Georgia Pass) and other new items
• Exchange 3 is the Vehicle Exchange. Please read the Handbook carefully and if you still need help working your logistics, call or email and we'll help out. Consider coming to the Clinic on August 28th in Golden. We'll be taking notes here and posting them online.
• Only one team vehicle is allowed over Guanella Pass. See the handbook.

CHECKLIST: Here's your checklist of things to do before the race:

• Events: Check them out. Show up if you can
• Add Volunteers to the Volunteer Assignment Database as well as the Team Registration Database
• Put your running order into the Team Registration Database
• Add your team-members and remember to fill in your T-shirt size
• RSVP for the Rally Dinner
• Train
• Have Fun
