FUNDRAISING & DONATION INFO

Over 10,000 non-profit organizations in Colorado compete for the same funding dollars and visibility. The Colorado Relay provides an opportunity for you to raise money and awareness for Outward Bound Wilderness and Judi's House students while enjoying a day (and a night) running in the mountains. All donations support the these two organizations in providing Outward Bound courses for the Judi's House students.

To encourage this fund-raising aspect, the Colorado Relay has kept the team registration fee at a reasonable rate which goes to pay the expenses of the 24-hour+ race. In support of the school we have incorporated a fundraising component into the Relay. Each team, in addition to the registration fee, is responsible for fundraising a minimum of $250, which will be due on or before race start. This is only an additional $25 per runner that goes directly to Outward Bound Wilderness as a donation in support of its programs and students.

After we receive your donation, and after the race a thank you note is sent to each donor via the team captain and can be used as a receipt to enable you to deduct your donation properly in your taxes.

We strongly encourage you to raise donations for Outward Bound Wilderness above and beyond your minimum contribution.
